Reports just coming in has it that an explosion has rocked the sabon gari area of Kano state. The cause of the explosion is yet unknown while some have described it as a bomb blast, others say it is a gas explosion.
The images being viewed online suggest that the incident happened around a primary school vicinity with rescue efforts ongoing to determine the casualty figures.
