    Press Statement

With The Demise of Queen Elizabeth II, The World Has Lost A Matriarch

The Committee for the Protection of Peoples Mandate (CPPM) celebrates the life and time of our revered Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of England and head of the commonwealth, who passed away peacefully at the Balmoral on Thursday 8th September 2022.

We are indeed delighted to note that the Queen lived a life devoted to serving humanity in which she distinguished herself excellently with her poise, elegance, dignity and majesty throughout her life time of 96 years and 70 years on the throne not only to the British people, but also to the commonwealth of nations and the world at large.

Looking back at the life and times of the Queen, we Nigeria and Nigerians are indeed proud to be associated with her royal majesty and for the wisdom and unity of purpose with which she rallied the commonwealth of nations together as one big united and prosperous family.

With the passing of the Queen, the world has lost a Matriarch and an ambassador of Global Peace.

Our condolences to the royal family, the government and people of the United Kingdom, the commonwealth and the world at large over this irreparable loss to humanity.

Rest in Peace our Great Queen, your exit is a celebration of the life and times of the world’s Matriarch.

    Thanks.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Nelson Ekujumi,

    Executive Chairman.
